Members of Thrivent Financial (a Lutheran financial service), are able to sign up for Thrivent Choice, which designates St Peter's Lutheran Church Middletown as your charitable offering.
Gifts of Materials
Gifts of materials to the church are tax deductible and can be included on your annual giving statement if you submit a receipt. Contact the church office to learn of current need areas if you are interested in supporting in this manner.
Annual Required Minimum Distributions (RMD)
IRAs with annual required minimum distributions can be donated to the church as a qualified charitable donation (QCD). Contact your account custodian for details. Distributions up to $105,000 annually made directly to the church by the account custodian are exempt from income taxes.
